Early on Keanu goes to a coffee shop and after exiting a bus blows up. 

This is at:

They show us the sign that says Main St. and a look at a clown statue:

We see the North Beach Bar & Grill (today it's a CVS):

 And the bright red Cafe that Keanu goes to:

Then we see the bus blow up:

Later in the film Sandra Bullock hits a baby carriage full of cans.

Here is a reverse shot, notice the "printing sign" (you see the bottom of it in the screen cap above):

We also see the cops ride past the Pico Pre School:

The sign appears to have a cartoon of Big Bird on it:

That sign isn't there anymore, but otherwise the school looks very much the same today.
